Please help me find wedding shoes which are genuinely, seriously, really comfy

Help! I'm trying to find shoes for our wedding day in September and struggling with choosing something online.

I've been married before and aside from the tosspot ex husband being at the end of the aisle, the other massive bummer from that day was that my beautiful (low heel!) Jimmy Choo shoes hurt soooo much. I ended up in a pair of Ugg boots for most of the evening 😬 I'm so excited about our low key wedding but really want to feel comfortable on the day. Happy to sacrifice a bit of style if I must to achieve that!

I'm hoping to find something that's either a wedge or a block heel with some sort of platform or proper padding under the ball of the foot. Ideally something I can wear again so a colour or gold, rather than ivory / white.

Any ideas for heels / wedges that basically feel like wearing slippers or trainers for 8 hours? Am I living in a dreamworld?

I bought some new, end of line Rainbow Club shoes from eBay, they were only £10. Rainbow Club specialise in wedding shoes and they're SOOOOOO padded. I bought some regular heels, but they also have some really pretty slingback flats, and heels with a block heel that would probably be a bit more comfortable (no one will see under the dress anyway!). They also do some of their designs in a wider fit that might be a bit more comfortable too? I read somewhere to go for a rounder toe, and avoid peep toes as well if you want to be as comfortable as possible!

Someone recommended Anello and Davide shoes to me, and I was so grateful - they were amazingly comfortable, and very pretty, with mid-heel and closed toe. Emma Hope and Harriet Wilde also have lovely shoes, and reviews say they are very comfortable. None of them very cheap, and I don’t know your budget, but should come in cheaper than Jimmy Choos!
And if you are going for a colour or gold you can enjoy wearing them again. 😀
