Une Beauty Lip Balm

I’ve had this about a decade — no idea how it lasted so long as I’ve loved it. Anyway, gone to replace it and the brand isn’t about anymore 😭
Does anyone know of anything similar. It was so moist but not glossy and the colour was 👌🏻 And obviously low in toxic ingredients.

I have spent SO many years trying to find a dupe for this exact product!!! Even the same shade, I think. When the brand first disappeared I managed to buy 3 or 4 tubes on eBay (unused, I hasten to add!) but they’re all long gone now...

I’m sorry to say I’ve never found anything I like quite as much. It’s my platonic ideal of a lipstick, and I always hope that one day, I’ll find something similar.

For those who have never used it - it went on like a lipstick, and had medium coverage, but the consistency and moisturising power of a balm. The colour was just ‘your lips but better’. I remember it have a slight sheen, but not a full gloss. It was just so natural and pretty.

Sorry to have written such an epic in response, I’ve just never found anyone else who loved this too (or even remembers Une)!

It’s great to know I’m not alone but your reply is devastating! I recently bought one from Honest, which has a nice consistency but the colour was just not right.

Which colour would you say is most like the Une?

This is my favourite too! I snapped up some on eBay but have never found anything else as good

Very old thread, but @looklauren, if you’re still searching for an Une alternative, I’ve just discovered YSL Rouge Volupte Shine… it’s not an exact dead ringer, but it’s very similar in texture and feel. Shade 88 is maybe the most similar to what I used to wear from Une. Obviously quite £££ though.
