Wedding Dress Help! - London Shopping

Hi, I am just after a little advice really...
I am getting married (hopefully) in January 2022 in Sri Lanka.
I am looking for a wedding dress but I do not want something traditional.
I defiantly don’t want a train, lace, or something too sparkly.
I am really looking for a beautiful gown rather than a wedding dress, it doesn't have to be white/ivory, Just a nice neutral shade. It would be a huge bonus if it had spaghetti straps/thin straps and was a thin material, so I don't get too hot!
I am a size 6 and have a budget of around 1.5k but would push to 2k for something perfect.

I am going to London next weekend to search for a dress. I have booked appointments at Galvan and NABBD (a bridesmaids dress shop, as I feel this maybe a good way to go). On my list, I also have Ghost, Roland Mouret and Needle & Thread, as well as department stores such as Harrods, Selfridges & Harvey Nichols.

I just want to make sure there isn't any other stores or brand I am missing :)

Thank you x

try Mirror Mirror in Islington. Just tell them your budget and what you are after - I am sure they will be able to help? Beautiful store.... or Emma Victoria Payne. Knightsbridge.

Ooh I love Galvan dresses, so beautiful. Not sure if Ghost are upmarket enough these days?

How about having a look at the bridal section on Net-a-Porter (here) in case any particular dress or designer catches your eye?

Really recommend this company, and would be ideal for you with your size

Yes I totally agree with what you are saying about Ghost!

Galvan is by far my favourite, I can't wait to try their gowns!

I believe I will end up with a Galvan dress but I just want to make sure I am not being narrow minded and not thinking of other options.

I love Net-a-Porter, I never realised they have a bridal section, so I will take a look thank you! :)

Thank everyone else for the other options.

Maybe I should of been more clear in my OP I wanted to stay away from traditional bridal dress shops. I want something that isn't your typical bridal dress and defiantly don't want a train, so I feel I would struggle in bridal stores!

Thank you anyway x
