Maternity wedding guest dress

Anyone seen anything nice for a summer wedding? Nothing low cut though which is partly my issue, I won't wear anything low cut at all and it seems like mat styles in particular are overwhelmingly low cut.

Disclaimer: Not a fashion guru or even remotely interested, but I had FOUR weddings the summer I was pregnant, and needed an adaptable dress I could wear to them all.

I had a knee length empire line jersey dress. Comfortable, flattering and "expandable" with the belly.

The cut was similar to this: www.houseoffraser.co.uk/brand/hotsquash/empire-line-jersey-maxi-dress-yk2899

This may a bit low cut for you, but search for this type of dress see if you find something you like.

When I had a wedding to go to at 37 weeks last time, I found a lovely stretch lace dress by Tiffany Rose (this one www.tiffanyrose.com/maternity/clothing/AMLCL/Amelia-Maternity-Dress-Short-Claret.html) on eBay. Because it’s stretchy it’d do for non maternity too.

That brand does have beautiful dresses, with prices to match, but deffo worth looking for a second hand one as these things don’t get the wear so are usually in great condition. That one was machine washable too which was handy.

Also have a look at Seraphine - I think they had an offer on occasion dresses recently. Or one of the dresses from Isabella Oliver could be dressed up with accessories and a hat for the wedding, but you’d get wear out of it other times too. I had this one www.uk.isabellaoliver.com/collections/maternity-dresses/products/balcombe-maternity-dress-classic-navy
which I wore for a successful promotion interview (I felt great in it) but it’d look totally different with dressy accessories and shoes.

A few other good ones in the Isabella Oliver sale (including the one I linked above but slightly different colours)

Did you find something @SecondhandTable?

I’ll be ‘best man’ at my best friend’s wedding in July. I’m feeling gross at the moment and would love to hide my fat arms but don’t want anything too loose because I find it makes me look even bigger.

Hi! Well, I ordered a lacy yellow dress that was significantly reduced from Mamalicious. However it hasn't turned up at all and the tracking link says the delivery company have no record of that tracking ref Angry. So I need to chase that up but I will be gutted if I can't get it sorted as it was a really good deal and I liked it. They had long sleeve versions of the dress I ordered too so might be worth a look.

Oh no, I hope it turns up! I’ll check them out, thanks.
