What tongs / wand should I get?

Long, straight, fine, but lots of hair. I want to do waves half way down, not to tips.

I don't want to spend much.

Boots have the Mark Hill pick and mix range - you could get a three prong curler thing and a wand plus the handset in the 3/2 offer for about £33?

I have similar hair and have the big and smaller 3 prong mermaid waver for beachy type waves - takes about 10 mins to do my just below should hair

Really any 32inch wand or curling tong with a good review if you don’t want to spend loads
