Cos coat sizing?

I'm eyeing up and oversized trench coat in Cos.

I'm usually a 16, but can sometimes take a 14 in tops and dresses.

Does anyone have an oversized coat from Cos and what is the sizing like?

I'm a tall hourglass shape, so big boobs and hips. Smaller waist and relatively slim legs.

The Cos trench I've got is quite generous, I bought a size down from my usual size and there is still plenty of space.

Thanks @SausageRoll2020. I've ordered the 14! Fingers crossed it will fit ok. I'm planning to wear it open most of the time, but would also like it to fasten.

Is it that dark grey one with flecks and the back flap? I ordered my usual size and it was far too big. I know its meant to be oversized but I think going down a size is smart.

Great sounds as if I made the right call!

It's one which comes in yellow, beige and black. I love the yellow, but opted for the beige as I think it suits me better and is more neutral, so will go with more things and less likely to date etc.

Hang on, will link (any excuse Grin)

It looks quite baggy unfastened, but with the belt, it is quite shapely which I think will suit me. I might tie the belt but not all of the buttons most of the time.

That's thinner fabric than the one I tried, which I can't now find on their site. Same pattern though I think!

Anything described as oversized by them is generally massive. Definitely size down, I have returned loads of things because I just can’t get the sizing right online.

The one you've linked is the one I have (albeit in last season's colour) so I reckon you'll be spot on with the size you've ordered.

It also garners lots of compliments when worn which is always a nice little plus!

Ah brilliant! I love Mumsnet for this sort of thing!

Yes, I think it looks beautiful and I saw a really similar one which was waaaaaay more expensive. I think it was Valentino or something well out of my price range! This looks so similar and a better price - not cheap, but not ridiculous. I'm really excited to get it now!

Update: it's arrived and there is plenty of room! Fastens no bother. Delighted with it Smile
