My god daughter gets married in 6 weeks & with my 'new' lockdown body Confused the dress I bought originally is now a no go !😆

At 5"3, a 36G bust with a wide middle I'm trying to find a dress that doesn't have a waist band or that would make me look bigger than I am

I'm a (young) 51 so don't want anything frumpy & having no desire to pound the pavements in & out of shops currently, I've searched on line and i am really struggling

As a short dress I was thinking a swing style
As a long dress more empire line

Either way braless is not an option and so many dresses are backless 😩

Anybody have any inspiration for me please 😃

When I'm feeling on the larger side I tend to go maxi wrap dress. Waist line sits higher up. Have a look on silkfred as I think they had an article on this exact issue recently.

I’m very similar and got vneck, empire line dress in a beautifully wafty silk from LK Bennett years ago. Its very comfortable and looks great at a mid calf length. Unless you are super slim, I’d avoid skater dresses as they make you look shorter (For me anyway) and anything with a round or high neck will make you look chunky around the bust.

OP I just noticed there is another thread on here about dresses and big boobs with lots of links on, worth checking it out.
