Bra Advice

Hi Ladies

Looking for some advice. Basically I wear a normal, lightly padded, underwired t shirt bra and after seeing these photos I have realised it looks horrendous. You can see the shape and it is not very flattering (t shirt isn't v tight so it can't be that) I never feel like I get bras correct and have been measured so know I'm wearing right size. Any advice on what will make this look better? Brutal honestly appreciated!!

Where did you get measured? Was it using the Boob or Bust system? If not I would measure yourself at home first with that calculator as the first step is always to find the right size. There's a great Facebook group all about Boob or Bust.

I agree with the OP's advice. I also think a scoop or v neck t-shirt would be more flattering.

I have been measured in a few different shops inc an independent bra shop and I was wearing too big a band size and too small a cup size. I will have a look at that measurement guide tho.

I have v neck t shirts too and just looks the same!!! ☹️

Definitely have a look at boob or bust to check you're in the right size. You don't look awful by any means, but it maybe looks like your breast tissue isn't all scooped forward and being held where it needs to be.

If you are in the right size then make sure you're scooping and swooping. You might find a slightly padded bra gives you the support you want? Like the cups are a bit more rigid so your shape might be better.

i'm not seeing anything wrong with your shape, the bra or the top. you're looking totally appropriate for the hiking/wilderness setting.
no seams on display, no spillage over the top or the size and a good position mid arm.

Thanks ladies for the advice, very much appreciated. My boobs have very little shape and a lot of skin so always feel it is hard to get them looking half decent under a t shirt. I wondered if swapping padded for no padding would help?

They do look decent!
They look full and plump and massive Grin

I'm betting you're a 32F or thereabouts.

Small back and large cup are a nightmare to buy for.
IF you can afford it, I highly recommend Prima Donna

Try their balcony styles Forever or Madison. Not padded though.

You need a three piece cup - sometimes called horizontal cup with a side panel

I'm a 32E but I find that a lot of the time the bra gaps at the top of the cup... Thanks so much for the recommendations I will have a look just now at what you have linked!

Curvy Katy do bras of that style - Bra Stop is great for larger cup sizes. I would also try a 32D and see if the cup fit is better.

StarlightLady · 24/05/2021 07:43

The pics look spot on to me. With regard to any cup gape (mot obvious in the pics), l would suggest the only way as try on lots, as we are all different. The time of the month can cause issues too.

You look fine, bit if you want to finesse your boobs so to speak I'd look for a bra that puts them more to the front and less East West. Bravissimo have quite a few in this style www.bravissimo.com/collections/side-sling-bras/
