A nice black Mac!

I'm looking forward a lightweight, longish (to knees or shins) black Mac. I'd love it to be in a lagenlook type style, so shapely for a shapely plump woman. No patterns, no colours, no shine. I've looked everywhere!!

I dont know if they have black atm but mns do slim, lightweight, matte macs in various colours year round.

Ponks · 23/05/2021 12:26

Not sure what lagenlook is but I have a great plain black mac from Uniqlo.

Hobbs are my go to.. cotton and not shiny

This is what I want, maybe a little longer - but I'm a 14 so something smaller.

A nice black Mac!

Oh gosh what an unflattering shape op. Think when I'm on the plumper side I want something with a little padding in the shoulders and maybe a tie to tie the jacket under my bust (or at the smallest point of my midrift). One that'll bring out the shoulders and in the waste to help create an hourglass shape.

This one might make you look like you're in a bin bag. ...though it does look lightweight for summer at least...but then again, black stores heat more than lighter colours so...

I think we can find you something better op!

I was thinking something more like this shadow wise when u said 'mac'.

I think this one would be nice for a fuller figure. Might be a bit long though. It's one off the mns website just type in 'womens macs'. There are cheaper ones (£55 ect) and they have some blacks but this one comes in vanilla or rose at £69.

Oh and, caramel/toffie is really in atm colourwise so if you wanted a dark shade but not black, that would be a good way to go.

A nice black Mac!

*jacket wise

I'd call that pic a parka not a mac OP

As others have said Uniqlo has great waterproof coats, but they are quite straight in shape: www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/women-blocktech-hooded-coat-429061.html?dwvar_429061_color=COL09&dwvar_429061_size=SMA001&cgid=IDblocktechcoats1148

I'm very wide shouldered, so that shape actually hangs well. I'd love a coat that ties at the centre but I'm built like a bloke!

...which is why lagenlook styles tend to suit me abs my man-build joking not joking
