What are your Glossier favourites?

Never bought from glossier before but been thinking of cloud paint for a while and now Like the look of the ultra lip.

What are you glossier must haves?

Hello. I'm a long term Glossier customer from the beginning and have tried loads of their products. I repeat buy the Skin Tint, the Stretch Concealer, the Cloud Paints and Boy Brow. The Haloscope is a great grown up subtle highlighter. The fragrance is fresh and great for layering. I have the Cloud Paint in Dusk for the Summer and wear Storm in the Winter - I have a code for 10% off your first purchase on the promo board. I'd get a credit if you used it. The cloud paint is lovely.

I would love to try their other products but am a bit worried about colour match.

My niece uses their lip balm and loves it.

I got a sample of their future dew serum and wanted to love it but didn't. It made me look quite oily.

I didn’t get on with cloud paints at all. I much prefer Benetint from Benefit. I also really wanted to like futuredew and I am thinking of giving it another go as I only had the sample. It made me look too oily and shiny. I looked ridiculous on zoom calls that day. Too shiny!

Things I like are the bounce serum, cloud paints - I have a peachy one and a red one, and the stretch concealer, which I use with a light tinted moisturiser in areas I need a bit more coverage. Boy brow I buy if I’m putting in an order for other stuff, but there are plenty of cheaper versions of it from other brands that seem to do the job as well (tho I have pretty thick brows so that might make a difference.)

Things I wouldn’t rebuy - generation G lipstick which I found too dry and doesn’t apply well, and the mascara which is too natural for me - but I do like a lot of lash.

I’m early 40s with decent but not brilliant skin if that’s helpful

@PandoraP I have benetint at the moment but find it sort of mixes and lifts the foundation so was hoping that cloud paint would be an upgrade.

I bought some L'Oréal brow gel but can't get on with it

I have the lidstar cream eyeshadow in a shimmery taupe which is very pretty. I have been asked about it when I wear it. I wasn't keen on the Generation G lipsticks either. In going to order the new Ultralip today. The Stretch Concealer lasts for ages. I use it every day and a pot lasts me two years. The milky jelly cleanser and body products are nice. I didn't really get into Futuredew. I tried it a few times but didn't love it.

Thank you. The Boy Brow is lovely. I've bought the Boy Brow so many times over the last few years. I get the brown and it always makes my brows look natural but much better.

Skin tint and stretch look good? I've not looked but how do I get a colour match? I'm using hydraluminous and some where between warm ivory and warm beige. MAC NW20 but that's a little pale.

When I originally started buying Glossier Skintint and Stretch they came in Light, Medium and Dark. I'm MAC NC 20 and bought light in both tint and stretch and changed to medium in Skintint in the summer. They extended their range and renamed all the shades from 1 ( darkest) to 11 ( lightest) I messaged Glossier and they confirmed that the old Light is now 11:and the previous Medium is 9. - I could probably have condensed this down to I'm NC 20 and wear 11 in Winter and 9 in the summer. The skin tint is very sheer so if you were a shade out it would still work.

9 would probably work well for you.

I am Mac NC20 and wear 11 in the concealor and skintint, so maybe go for 9 or 10. It's so sheer that it doesn't need to be a perfect match though.

Cloud paint is much better than Benetint on my skin, more pigmented but blends better and lasts longer.

I wish I'd got the clear boybrow as I find the brown quite dark and heavy (I already have dark, thick brwns) but ok with a very light touch.
Wowder is a nice, very light loose powder that doesn't settle in creases. The mascara is great for a very natural, no makeup type look.

Love the skin tint, (mine is g10) not convinced on the concealer but have actually just reordered a shade lighter g11 to see if that’s better (the formulation is great) cloud paint in beam is lush would like to try more colours. I love futuredew but use it very sparingly and I see why others aren’t keen. I got a lip gloss but it’s just fine nothing special. I have ordered generation g and boy brow. Oh and I got a sample of the priming moisturiser, would maybe use it if I was on an all day thing and needed make up to last but I’m not convinced it’s a good every day moisturiser. I ordered a sample of the perfume with this order which has kinda intrigued me.
I would like to have unlimited funds to try it all but honestly I think it’s probably overpriced and elf do some highly rated dupes, will re purchase the skin tint and cloud paint but apart from that it’s only something for real treats or when I’m feeling particularly flush!

My Futurelip order arrived today. I got Villa and Portrait and they're both very pretty and subtle and buildable. They feel like lip balm. I have a 10% off code on the Promo board if anyone is interested. I'd get an account credit.

Is Glossier any good for mature skin?

I did one of their bundles and got cloud paint, boy brow and the mascara.

I absolutely love the mascara, it goes on so well and looks really good, and does not smudge at all.

Cloud paint also exceeded my expectations.

I like the boy brow but I don’t notice dramatic results from it.

I think will give their foundation a go next time.

The priming moisturiser is incredible. My skin is the best it has ever been. Also, cloud paint, the Matt lipstick, and lidstar are all good!

I love cloud paint and boy brow. I have their mascara as well, find it ok for every day, but will be going back to lancome when used up. I want to try the new lipsticks.

cherrypiepie It will be a nice treat. I'm really hankering after the Future lip in Fete now. Really Ree has lip swatches on her blog today.
SunSeeker2 I'm in "my prime" and really like Glossier. British Beauty Blogger is in her 50s and says that she thinks Glossier is perfect for her age group even though it's thought of as a millennial's brand.
Squiz81 The Skin Tint is very sheer, but I really like it for Summer. I buy it in the bundle with the fantastic Stretch Concealer.
It's definitely worth looking at their bundles as it works out cheaper if you like the products. The Futurelip comes in a bundle with the Haloscope highlighter which is an excellent "grown up" highlighter. It looks subtle and glowy with no Tin Man effect.

I like the Boy Brow and the Cloud Paint (although found that tricky to get the balance right).
My skin isn't good enough for the Skin Tint but the Stretch concealer is good.
I think if you have mature skin Glossier would work well, as the idea is a softer, natural look, so nothing settles in lines and it gives some 'dewiness' to dryer skin.

I need dewyness!

Is the skin tint dewy or do you need futuredew?

@SunSeeker2 I use both and it’s deffo dewy!!!! Skint tint by itself is a bit dewy but future dew adds more I would say start small with future dew and see how it goes

What shade in skin tint are you all using? On their website the models seems to be either olive skinned or very fair. I am in between.

I love Future Dew, Boy brow and the perfume (I get so many compliments about it).

Didn’t like the Generation G lipsticks, so, so dry.
