Shapewear skirt recommendations

I have an event to go to and think a panel of my dress skirt might be a bit see through so thought I'd get a slip skirt or similar for under it, and while I'm at it, thought it might as well be a 'tummy control' type one, so I'd be interested in recommendations. Ideally available in flesh tone, not too long (I'm only 5ft 1 or so).

I am size 10-12, but have always had a large stomach and a skirt might help a few of my nice summer dresses fit better.

I have a nude coloured shape wear skirt, it has a built in gusset so does a great job at holding everything in. I would suggest that and is easy to go to the toilet in unlike shape wear briefs

Thanks @Vivian9898 - where did you buy it? I think I've seen ones like that on Amazon.

I’ve bought this one to go under a skirt I can’t wear without something underneath. It’s got built in pants as part of the whole thing.

Personally, unless it was a work event, I’d be quite relaxed if something was just slightly see through.

In terms of support, assuming we get a summer, you don’t want anything overly restrictive. Would one of these work for you? It still gives you room to breathe and go for a wee without feeling as if you have been in a wrestling match. And you can vary your bras (or opt for no bra) to suit the top.

I have this from Amazon, the lace over the bra cup doesn’t fit me so I am going to cut it out but good at smoothing all over.
It’s a step into rather than a pull over the head and get into a wrestling match!
When I got it was only about £8

@Echobelly - For ease, I’ll park that in the work event category for now! Agree, remotely see through, inappropriate. I’d still recommend the slip and own bra combo though. Especially as a PP has a control slip and has problems with the built in bra.

I've checked again and it's not actually see through where I feared it might be so I think I'll leave it for now, but might consider one of those slip skirts for a future event. I always get a bit nervous and need the loo before doing readings in synagogue, so I think I'll want to avoid anything that might make going to the loo tricky this time!
