Ankle Boots for straight leg and flared jeans

I'm looking for ankle boots to wear with both straight leg jeans (turned up) and flared jeans. To complicate matters I have big feet and a bad back so need flats ideally in a size EU42. Was thinking slightly pointed boots - does anyone have any suggestions please?

Not sure whether I'd be better with a pointed boot that is more versatile or a chunky boot that I think I could only wear with the turned up straight leg jeans? I've tried to attach pics of some I've been looking at
