High waisted jeans - Apple shape

I am looking for jean recommendations please. Due to current restrictions I can’t go to a department store and take in armfuls to try on... my usual tactic!

Looking for genuinely high waisted, Sainsbury’s used to do a pair that went high enough to hold on my Apple tummy and give me some shape, however they appear to have been discontinued.

So far today I have had four pairs delivered but not great. Have tried M&S Eva bootcut, Sainsbury’s skinny high waist, matalan soon high waist straight leg and river island high waisted ones.

All suggestions appreciated!

I am an Apple and have these and they are very flattering. Create a nice slim waistline and great around the bum. Also the lighter wash looks good with trainers or boots.

Must be middle aged😂 But really soft with a bit of stretch, sit on natural waist and I think are flattering.

I would consider myself a 10-12 and bought the 12 but so I can tuck in. They are higher than belly button so the actual button of the jeans (for me) is directly over my belly button and the top of the jeans a cm above that.

I also like that they are not meant to be super tight around the hips means I have (more of) an hourglass shape in them which I like, and I tuck in t shirts and blouses etc

I like NYMJ, they are pricey but the elastic makes them comfortable and they last forever.
I’m long torso-Ed so I need stuff to be high wasted or I get really weird shaped. They’re not ‘up to your ribs’ but definite Above bellybutton level.

I’m an apple and have these. I like them but they are more of a straight leg than a slim on me but I had to get a 16, usually 14. They fit well on my stomach, waist and bum though and are quite flattering.

Dorothy Perkins Frankie jeans go up to the belly button. Also Asos high waisted are really high waisted and not cut too curvy which is great for my apple shape

I love Levi’s 501s. They’re high waisted and button fly. Levi’s also does ‘ribcage’ jeans which I imagine must be very high, though I haven’t tried them yet. I just find Levi’s so much better quality and nicer to wear than any of the high street brand jeans, and the price differential isn’t that much.
