Help with an evening/ party dress please?

Early 50s, 5’9”, ok arms and legs, thicker middle, nonexistent bust.
The dress code is black tie but not necessarily long.

A lot of the Reiss ones are out of stock.
I must wear a bra, I'm very lacking in the chest department.

Maybe not traditional black tie but some lovely prints- Dawn O’Porter wears them.

After all the dresses, I still like the green one in your OP best.

When is the party? As I think the Reiss Navy velvet dress could be perfect for an Autumn event. Alternatively have you considered a "dressy" jumpsuit; I dislike the phrase but I mean not a demin or other heavy fabric one but a jumpsuit that drapes and flows rather than utilitarian!

I like the ghost one that you linked to OP. It's not technically black tie but the satin fabric might lift it. The rixo print is nice too.

@AmmeEmma.... potentially. esp if very different from your usual look,and acessorised.it was getting late n i would be w+bs nightmare i would have to try loads on...!!i thought the pattern bit might appeal.to be brutally honest i think smaller boobs might be ..less booby than the models..and work.the only iffy thing iv just spotted is the white inner.not sure bout that..
