Nail issue

Anyone have any advise? I broke this nail over a year ago and it just won't heal. As soon as it grows I catch it and have to keep trimming it short. I've tried nail glue that didn't work. Its a small issue but its so annoying!

I have a problem nail from when I broke that finger years ago. It splits vertically,as soon as it reaches the top of my finger.
I too tried nail glue ( even superglue at times), every type of nail strengthened.
The only thing that I have found to work is when I invested in an at home
Gel nail kit with a lamp. Even if I don’t bother doing the other nails I do that one. Put a pale colour on it & leave it, let it grow out. I’ve managed to get it to stay pretty intact doing that. If I want to wear a colour I just put it over the top & remove it with acetone free remover when I want to change as that removes the coloured polish but leaves the pale gel untouched underneath.
