I'm rubbish at dressing up, normally comfort first but I do like to look tidy!

Would this suit Saturday night dinner out? Not 5 star place but would want to reasonably smart. I'm a size 16 (5'6" and 12st6lb) but my belly and hips are where I carry most weight.

Please help! Or any dress ideas? I like a sleeve of some sort and think a skater style suits me. Budget around £50.

A little help please

I’d definitely wear that on a night out. Same size as you, but shorter, and that’s always a style I’d go for.

ILoveMyMonkey · 18/05/2021 20:28

P.s I really like that dress too

@ILoveMyMonkey

Really? Great. Im worried about my stomach sticking out but maybe this will disguise it a little?

I love the boots too but don't have any like this Sad maybe worth a splurge or finding a cheaper copy.

Sorry, just seen your reply. No I’m sure your tummy will look fine so long as the belt isn’t too tight then the dress should skim a bit. Loving the boots too.

I got both today and I do like both but not sure I can do the combo together?! Also, the brass cuff buttons might have to go.

Have you got pics?

laughoutquiet · 23/05/2021 08:16

Sorry I'm too late! I wore it last night (with heels). I really like it. So nice to wear something that I don't feel I need to pull up/pull down/wear weird underwear Grin.

I did take the buttons off the cuffs though!
