It smarts a bit for sure. Enough to make me clench my fists a bit. Lasts a few weeks or so. Longer than waxing for me anyway. I can only comment on upper lip though as that’s all I have had done.

I have had my brows threaded. I find it painful, but I find pretty much any hair removal in the brow area uncomfortable, embarrassingly enough I often find myself tearing up. The benefit to threading is it has the precision of plucking, but also pulls out many hairs at once so it is far quicker. I didn't find it any longer lasting than plucking or waxing personally, but I was very happy with the result.

Yes it hurts. My face is very red after it and I have to hibernate for few hours.
It’s great when the fur comes off and it’s not there.
Mine reappears after 3/4 weeks?

I get my whole face done every month or so. Will pluck the odd stray hair in between or use my JML Flawless for a touch up if necessary. I have loads of dark thick fast growing hair though so I'd imagine results would be longer lasting for most people without the need for touch ups.

The only part I find particularly painful is my upper lip and if they go too close for comfort towards my eyes on/above my cheekbones. The rest of it is fine really. Given I get my whole face done the only other realistic option would be dermaplaning I guess to get similar results and I am too nervous to try that so far.

I find it more painful than waxing, it’s a different sort of pain, kind of sets my teeth on edge! I think similar time to grow back.
Worth a try if you’re curious?

I do my own and have done so for years, hardly feel a thing now unless I do it when I am on my period, seem to be more sensitive then!
