Best value Birkenstock's -where?

jincanpoops · 17/05/2021 19:19

I've decided this is the year that I finally buy real Birkenstock's, rather than own-brand versions. Where is the best place to look? I'm NHS and a Blue Light card so somewhere that offers discounts for that would be ace.
Does anyone know of any hidden places??

Anyone? My google searches haven't unearthed any bargains, sadly.

Look for somewhere with a 10% off first order or something.

Aldi has some dupes this week. They are definitely not birkenstocks but look ok.

lisalandry · 18/05/2021 20:06

I bought a pair recently from the Birkenstock website using a £10 voucher I got for subscribing to their newsletter. Couldn't find anywhere cheaper.

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 18/05/2021 20:20

I priced Birkenstocks on Amazon that were marginally cheaper than Birkenstocks website itself. I love them and depending what style you're looking for lots of places do decent sales at the end of the summer with their sandals.

BeaLola · 18/05/2021 20:23

For older styles / more unusual colours sometimes and the odd discounted price keep an eye on M&M direct or Surfdome

Terriblecreature · 18/05/2021 20:26

I am a massive Birkenstock lover and for me worth every penny (even without a discount) however, I grudge full price for anything lol have you tried Schuh or Office? You can usually get discount codes for their. I had seen some Arizona's on eBay, brand new in the box for £48 various colours you could be taking a gamble with authenticity though.

Broadbeanssleeping · 18/05/2021 20:28

Sorry to hijack - anyone tried moshulu versions?

AllTalkNo · 18/05/2021 20:49

I've got both Moshulu and Birkenstocks and prefer the Moshulu ones. They suit my narrow feet and are slightly more flexible. The leather is softer too.

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 18/05/2021 20:51

The children's birkenstocks go up to a size 6 and are cheaper than the adult ones!

StillWeRise · 18/05/2021 20:52

interesting, I was looking at the Moshulu ones. I got the Aldi ones this week, a bit wider than Birkenstocks I think but so cheap it's worth a try (they were leather)
in years gone by I've got the real think from TK Maxx, but they don't seem to have them anymore.

piefacedClique · 18/05/2021 20:53

And other stories had an amazing deal yesterday www.stories.com/en_gbp/shoes/flat-sandals/birkenstock/product.birkenstock-arizona-eva-black.0861680001.html

I bought the cream python ones from another website and they are beautiful!

Gonegrey31 · 18/05/2021 20:54

I bought some in Costco a couple of summers ago .

BlowDryRat · 18/05/2021 20:59

TK Maxx have had them in every summer for the past few years. Limited styles and colours obviously, but definitely the real thing.

LockdownCheeseToastie · 18/05/2021 21:05

I’ve had a few pairs of preowned but unworn ones from eBay for £30 ish a pair- worth checking in the winter for people decluttering. But obv depends if you’re willing to wait for ones you like in the right size. Schuh do a decent blue light discount.

KirstenBlest · 18/05/2021 21:24

Mine came from ebay. were in good nick and cheap but I got them when they weren't trendy, and I watched quite a few.

I'd order them from the official web site.

Mellonsprite · 18/05/2021 21:45

I’ve bought from an international seller in Germany before. Even with postage it worked out cheaper than uk stockists. Not sure what the situation is with import duty now though.

Mumdiva99 · 18/05/2021 21:49

Be careful buying of ebay etc as you need to be sure whether you are getting narrow or standard Birkenstock and I find that it isn't always clear on here - even some of the Amazon adverts aren't clear.

I sometimes buy them second hand - if you can tell the width fitting from an ebay picture then they probably haven't been worn very much!

I don't find a lot of price difference online in the new ones - but have found a pair in TK Maxx once for a good price.

tomorrowisanother · 18/05/2021 21:52

Try shopaholics website. They have some Birkenstock's.

polexiaaphrodesia · 18/05/2021 22:25

Keep an eye out for the 20% off codes from ASOS. They had one yesterday and usually do one every few weeks.

Tittie · 18/05/2021 22:49

ASOS regularly have 20% off everything flash sales, usually a couple of hours for one evening. I did the same to get my Birkenstocks cheaper recently! Love them.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 19/05/2021 07:33

As others have said TKmaxx do get a limited amount in, check their stock online as well.

Hard to get good discounts, but Costco do some styles and Office have some usually in the sale.

Read somewhere Birkenstock had stopped selling on Amazon due to to many fakes, would be very careful on ebay as well.

tomorrowisanother · 19/05/2021 07:36

@tomorrowisanother

Try shopaholics website. They have some Birkenstock's.
Shopaholics=shoeaholics Sorry!!! (Autocorrect)
