In shower moisturiser recs

Does anyone have any fantastical and magical in shower moisturiser recommendations please?

I will never be a person who does a full body moisturise post shower, because I don't like feeling sticky & waiting for it to dry, and honestly, CBA.

But, my skin is very dry & needs some help.

I've tried the Nivea one and it's ok, but not amazing. Would love to try others if you have any recommendations.

Thanks!

Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is great. You put it on in the shower then dry yourself - is that what you are looking for?

Ooh just noticed they do an ultra rich version too

Mackie2020 · 17/05/2021 11:51

@ThatIsMyPotato That's exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks! Slap it on in the shower, get out, dry off and then get on with your day.

I'm just looking for one that is an effective moisturiser for my scaly legs, as the Nivea one hasn't blown me away.

Thank you - I'll take a look at Sanctuary.

The sanctuary one, I like the gel version. Smells of watermelon and has exfoliating acids in it

WillYouDoTheFandango · 17/05/2021 11:59

I was also going to recommend the Sanctuary one!

I've only ever tried the Sanctuary one, and thought it was fantastic. I can't imagine others being better really.

I use e45 bath oil in the shower, for the same reasons you are trying to find a decent one. If think you'd need to use an exfoliate before hand if, like me, you've developed somewhat scaley skin on your legs

I do like the Sanctuary in-shower miracle thing but I find the scents unbelievably overpowering. I've sort of accepted that I just need to get into a moisturising routine so I'm now exfoliating in the bath/shower (with the Sanctuary hot sugar scrub which is AMAZING although admittedly also overperfumed!) and then using La Roche Posay Lipikar body milk. It's dries surprisingly quickly and it's v easy to rub in. The difference, compared to my previous scaly legs, is incredible!

Lush do a couple of bars. One is king of skins. It's fab. You just run it on whilst your still wet in the shower.

I have one if those big bottles of neutrogena with the pump by the shower. It honestly isn't sticky and sinks in really quickly so only takes 30 seconds. I started using it after I saw Sally Hughes recommend it.

Sanctuary was on offer in the supermarket so I've bought that to try!

I've tried loads , from expensive to cheap, and I always go back to Dove Body Wash Glow. It smells subtle but always leaves my skin silky smooth. I put it on with a shower puff thingy, it really lathers and I don't buy anything else now.
