Can we talk about scalp care?

I know, no one ever thinks about their scalp! Grin

For most of this year my scalp has suddenly needed some TLC and I would love to hear product recommendations!

GP has given medicated shampoo & steroid lotion to balance a weird rash I get. I find myself now needing a conditioner/moisturiser specifically for my scalp to keep on top of it. Also there’s a lot of scalp toners/serums/masks on the market and it’s hard to decide where to start!

The best thing I’ve bought is a scalp shampoo brush from amazon. It takes a lot of dead/dry skin off the scalp.

I bought one from TK Maxx...game-changer!

Pettigrain essential oil in almond oil carrier as a head massage. Leave oil on overnight.

Thanks for the scalp brush tips! Bought one from Superdrug first thing! Do you use it on your wet or dry scalp?

Thanks for the oil tip too! Really excited to get my scalp back on track

I use the trichology range from Super drug and that has actually worked wonders for me! I ran out and kind of forgot to buy it again since I was trying to finish up old ones and my rash started to creep back, went back to using it and it's calming down again :)

Shampoo brush made a huge difference for me too. I use it to work shampoo into my hair and give scalp a good rub.
Tea tree oil shampoos are good for scalps, I was using a really cheap one from Sainsbury’s. Currently using the garnier hair food shampoo and masks, I’ve been impressed with them. Scalp issues haven’t come back and my hair looks better.
