Bra that actually lifts?

Can anyone recommend a bra that gives really good lift and is smooth under clothing? Also not heavily padded? Struggling to find anything that meets this description...

I'm still struggling to find the perfect bra, so will be watching closely 🌸

Panache Jasmine. Tits around my ears!

Nobranothanks · 17/05/2021 06:34

Doesn't meet your criteria per say however the best bra I've ever had (I have tried thousands as have particularly awkward tits - so much so I had my own thread!) is the Victoria's secret incredible perfect shape bra. It's padded but not in a make them sit under your chin way, supremely comfortable and gives a lovely shape.

Freya deco. Fantasie Rebecca. M&s flexifit, molke

Its possibly a size issue if you are struggling to find any that lift properly and worth getting a proper measure from bravissimo ( if they are doing them in store) or online from boob or bust.
If you don't have the correct size you won't get a decent lift.
Have to say though I do tweak the sizings from boob or bust purely for comfort but my boots look way better than they did with the old fashion ed way of measuring and adding 4 to my back measurement.

whyhell0there · 17/05/2021 19:57

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I probably do need to be measured properly again. I did it myself not too long ago but nothing ever fits quite right.

What are your measurements. If you measure your underbust/rib cage, and also fullest part while wearing a bra? Maybe we can help

I have a few of these.

They give AMAZING lift and a lovely round shape. I'm a 32E so no mean feat!

linerforlife · 18/05/2021 07:50

I second anything balcony shape from Panache. Incredible lift!!

Laufeythejust · 18/05/2021 07:55

I really like the next lightly padded plunge bras.

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 18/05/2021 08:30

Panache Envy is great for uplift.

bendmeoverbackwards · 20/05/2021 12:48

Going to try Panache, are they true to size?

goose1964 · 20/05/2021 15:21

I have one bra that fits me perfectly, it's from curvy Kate. I have others in the same size but they don't fit as well. I've just looked and it's called lifestyle.

idontlikealdi · 20/05/2021 15:41

My favourite bras are from Victoria's Secret, they're so comfy. I thought they were a teen brand but they're not limited at all. Im a 38c for a reference point.

ThatLibraryMiss · 20/05/2021 15:58

Panache cups are too narrow for me - Curvy Kate all the way. They run true to the size calculated at ABraThatFits.

Marie Jo bras are fantastic and second this recommendation. They certainly aren't cheap but make such a difference to the way your clothes hang and fit.
