How would you have your hair?

It's fine but very plentiful. Light warm Brown but with some grey streaks. I don't want it coloured though, I like the streaks.

Currently very very grown out blunt Bob with no layers down to my shoulders. Side part. Bouffs out at ear length so goes triangular.

I am very prepared to lose length. I am bad at styling. I hate very graduated cuts.

It depends if you want to keep some length (so will need to do a modicum of stying) or want to go short ie pixie cut

Without seeing your face shape & hair it's difficult to comment but I'd probably go a bit shorter, get the layers back in and ask for a style that's easy to maintain.

Look for pics on Pinterest for inspiration and have a good chat with your hairdresser, definitely explain that the style needs to be easy to work with.

Thanks dusty. I have looked at Pinterest til I'm blue in the face tbh and can't find anything. It's a new hairdresser too.

I can see me going for a variation of the same layered Bob that I've had for the past 20 years in the absence of anything else. Maybe I do just go bite the bullet and go for a long pixie just for the change.

Fat Gillian Anderson is how my brother describes me btw if that helps face shape wise.
