Bra straps showing with off shoulder top ?

does it matter ? FWIW my bra straps will be thin black ones and my bras are not the huge type with thick straps. Going on a date and wondered if showing the straps like this looks tacky ?

I don't know what they are called but for just off the shoulder tops, can you sew a ribbon loop and a popper into the undersides of the shoulders (where you would put shoulder pads and then insert your bra into the loops so that the bra strap doesn't show and moves with the top?

My dd has some detachable diamante straps that she uses for tops like this.

Now? Totally fine. My daughter and her friends all wear clothes like that, it’s part of the look.

I really dislike strapless bras. Does anyone else have a solution for vest tops?

OP can you wear a bralette or crop top so it looks like another top underneath?

Your bra sizes are irrelevant here! The OP has already said her bra has thin straps, so presumably a smaller bust, which might be suitable for a strapless or convertible bra!

I love fashion as much as anyone but seriously -this is some serious brainwashing if it is seen as tacky for a woman to show she needs support for her bust! Looking forward to the post patriarchal world where these things don't matter!

Alternatively if you just don't like the style of it rather than looking down on women for showing their bra strap ever, I would suggest a funky coloured strap to embrace it!

I have couple of off shoulder tops and I wear a supportive bra then pin the bra strap to edge of top. So strap is hidden but still gives me some support

Not "tacky". It's disappointing to see women using that word to describe other women. Wear what you like, if you feel good in it.
