Cheap straighteners

Hi, I have had extremely straight hair most of my life so have never owned straighteners. My hair now has a bit of a wave to it due to due to medication I'm on. I don't really want an expensive set like ghds but I'm thinking of buying some straightners. Any recommendations. Thanks

I bought a pair of Remington straighteners in the 00s that were reduced from £45 to £15 and they're still going strong... so I'd say they're a reliable brand.

Aldi often have straighteners in their specialbuy events too. Can't remember which brand but they always seem to get good reviews.

I bought the kipozi straighteners with titanium coated plates from a MN thread- they're better than GHDs imo because you can select any temperature rather than pre-selected settings. Remington seem to always get great reviews too- just make sure the straighteners aren't too square/ rectangular so you can use them to curl too in case you ever need to! :) Kipozi are between £25-30 and have an 18 month warranty on amazon

I’ve got kipozi wide plates too, I would buy them again.
