Need a jacket for this outfit..help!

I live in jeans and Breton tops, never wear dresses and am scared of heels... and have a wedding in July!
Sooo I took a gamble and ordered this outfit from JL, and to my surprise it looks really nice on (I'm 53 but tall and slim and by a miracle it's long enough in the body for me). I have some pretty wedge sandals with a little sparkle on that look fine with it even if I can't walk in them...

But.. It's the UK and our weather being what it is.. I need something over it as I'll be catching the Oxford Tube to London and I do not wish to be one massive goosebump if it's chilly.

What should I have over the top if it's cold? Usually I'd just chuck my denim jacket over but I suspect I need something smarter and I am clueless with clothes.
