@Sooverthemill, I would call them statement earrings. And they are awesome!

Weather awful. Garden like a swamp. Hence PurplecatDogs sulk! Cream tea dress from ASOS, with pirate boots. Love a mismatch of styles (and prices - the dress was less than 20 quid and it’s so easy to wear)

Am leaving the house today so will pop back on with my outfit. Which will be jeans and a top. As always. Lol.

Loving everyone's outfits. @EllaPaella your outfit with Hush skirt / leather jacket / DMs is gorgeous. Is that an old skirt or current?

@Sooverthemill sorry to hear your dd is so unwell. It can be hard if you become de facto carer and everyone else carries on having fun. Hope you can find more balance.

Statement earrings are really any that aren't tiny studs. So the idea that they are a key part of outfit rather than just something in your ears. There are lots of lovely vintage style ones around at the moment but those that you linked to from other stories are lovely.

For my curated closet project I have to record every daily outfit so will start properly from 1st June. Had a bit of a clear out so lots of stuff to list and / or wear. Lots of shoes still in new boxes. Don't even remember buying some of them. Lol.

I have one more day at work after today before we pack up and head off for the BH weekend, so excited. Got two meals out and bbq party planned so lots of opportunity to wear a dress, happy days 😊

I'm wearing a French Connection skirt and silk blouse from John Lewis. No tights!

Channeling my inner hippy today ( my eldest sister was a hippy. I was so jealous though I did have a cheesecloth blouse and clogs)

That's a beautiful blouse, @Sooverthemill. My mum was a hippy in the 70s (a bit late to the party) and gave me her love beads when I was about 10. I broke the string and she has never forgiven me 😂

My parents were very cool in the 70's. Mum was beautiful and had the most amazing long brown perfectly straight hair. On her wedding day she wore a teddy coat, paisley frock and the most amazing tan knee high boots (and was 8 months pregnant with my sister).
Dad used to have long hair and had the most amazing long leather jacket, so many photos of him in flares. I love looking at the old photo albums of them when they were younger.

Love all the outfits today and love the diversity between them too! I'm back in gym gear today. Will have to make more effort tomorrow
