Some lovely dresses yesterday @MaryTheMiddle, @Tehmina23 and @Sickoffamilydrama (I prefer it without the fleece ).

I think it might finally be warming up here. Which is good timing as I’m taking next week off. Although I might actually go and see my parents - just after we’ve all had and recovered from the Indian variant seems like the safest time!

Beautiful morning here, we are heading down south today to finally see family and friends that I haven't seen since last summer. So excited
I hope you get the lovely weather this weekend, definitely time to get our frocks on!

Feels like this is the first time in ages I've had an outfit worth posting! Off to London for the day and a very special trip to the Ritz.

Ooh nice outfits! How can the weather be so varied? Weird

@EllaPaella my parents were definitely not hippies! They were in their early 40s in the 70s. I was a teen in 1971 and got in on the die of hippy fashions. I persuaded our head teacher to let us have Laura Ashley dresses as our summer uniform ( which we could make or buy, I made loads of my friends dresses) and my own out of school clothes were exclusively Laura Ashley maxi skirts and dresses with a little liberty tana lawn thrown in ( I wasn't academically gifted as a teen but did do needlework!). Crocheted shawls and frilly over aprons. Thank the lord we didn't have a camera! I loved monsoon ( which was tiny then and was Indian printed clothing and lots of cheesecloth), I had one pair of jeans which were men's wrangler parallels from the men's workwear outfitter and a pair of purple velvet loons from jean jenie.

@Justonedayatatime11 have a wonderful day. Don't do as I did and get thrown out of the ritz not that you will in that fabulous outfit! @EllaPaella it's still cold down in my bit of the South, have a fab time how lovely to see family

It wasn’t too dreadful honest. Wore jeans and leather jacket to the cocktail bar. I didn’t know

Just a misspent youth been asked to leave a few places sometimes for doing nothing wrong from 16-19 I was out mostly partying every night except Sundays because they were closed but then I'd still find somewhere to go. The worst one @Sooverthemill I luckily can't remember apparently I was sick on the pubs brand new (that day) carpet 🤦‍♀️ and banned for life...poor person whoever had to clean it up! Why oh why did they do pubs with carpets wouldn't they be better with hard floors. I'd be really cross if my children did the same!

We went out of tea today, felt like such a treat after so long. Jumpsuit from hush, espadrilles from Boden (they've given me blisters ) and jacket from sosander.

I love that hush jumpsuit @PalacePaper! Gorgeous! I’m in Lucy and Yak again, so comfy!

The forecast high for here is 14! Bloody hell everyone else will be in their bikinis . Enjoy your sunshine!

Wearing a new tee . The t shirts from Sézane are brilliant quality and I’ve now got 7. Oops. Someone I know gets free shipping and sends direct to me so I only pay the actual cost of T-shirt. Similar price to Baukjen or hush. But I’ve realised that’s what I wear so that’s what to invest in

We've got a high of 20° but cloudy! Not sure bikinis will feature here . But possibly that's for the best- spare my neighbours' eyes

It’s currently 17C here. I was actually in my bikini first thing - but this was only because I was in the hot tub.

Oops. Got carried away there and forgot to say anything about my actual outfit!

I'm in gym clothes at the moment - finished yoga then took DD straight to athletics. We're going into town later to do some shopping and go to the cinema, forecast is warm but cinemas are always cold, hmm I think I'll need layers!

Also please ignore the mess. I was refusing to do any washing before the estate agent came as I didn't want it hanging around the place and now I'm drowning in laundry

Lovely to see everyone liking a bit more Spring-like. It’s nicer here today too (Central belt of Scotland). Hope it lasts. Just took PurplecatDog out - being Spanish he loves the sun - and he is currently running about the garden. Wee black dress is ancient, chucked a band teeshirt over it, with Michael Kors boots
