Option #2: green jumpsuit (The Fold)

A bit too office wear?

Option #3: monochrome dress (Karen Millen)

I think I’m just too pale to pull this off. Plus it may be a bit dated (pretty sure it’s from 2010).

Option #4: asymmetric dress (Karen Millen)

Possibly too wedding? The asymmetric neckline may be a bit dated (could well be 10+ years old).

Option #4: sleeveless dress (Debenhams, 2006)

I like the shape. Could be a bit chilly. Not sure about strapless (it came with detachable straps - I expect I still have them, but don’t know if I can find them before tomorrow evening).

Oops - the Debenhams dress should’ve been option #5

Option #6: jumpsuit (Coast)

One shoulder - so would need to go braless. Possibly a little on the snug side at my current weight?

Option #7: navy jumpsuit (Phase Eight)

It’s jersey, so extremely comfortable. But is it too casual for black tie? Might look dressier with added jewellery.

Option #8: Red silk dress (Hobbs)

Is it OK to have such a high neckline in the summer? The colour appeals to me - although perhaps I’ll stand out too much.

Option #9: velvet trousers (Hobbs) + sequin top (Mint Velvet)

Possibly pushing the boundaries of black tie a bit too far? I have a matching jacket, so I should be warm enough in this.

1,4 or 9 I think! I love the green jumpsuit but not black tie enough.

8 would look great with hair and makeup and as you say, drinks outside.
3 - I don't think you are too pale a how would you accessorise it?

9 with the jacket for outside.

I like 7,8 & 1 in no particular order.

Glad I bought this coat today particularly this longer version.

It’s cooler definitely! We are having neighbours round for coffee and pastries this morning. First social event since last January ( 2020). Will I remember how to do small talk? Had assumed we would be in the garden so need to quickly tidy the sitting room!

Boo to Saturday jobs 👎 Sadly I also have about ten loads of washing to work through but at least it's perfect weather for getting it all out on the line.
Just back from a beach walk/play/paddle with kids and dog and I am out with a friend this evening for tapas so looking forward to that. Taking DS to a family skating event this afternoon but not sure how my knee will hold out.

Ice colour combo @Sooverthemill we obviously have different weather @EllaPaella it's cloudy and about 18/19 degrees here.

Bit of a chuck a clean outfit on quickly outfit as been cleaning the house in old gear but suddenly realised it was time to take DD to swimming club it is the most annoying time 5.30 - 6.30 on a Saturday but her and her sister are really good swimmers thanks to this local swimming club, they can even do a decent butterfly 🦋

My evening wear for an unexpectedly free Saturday night. DD has gone to a last minute sleepover so I shall be partying. On the sofa with cats and dog.

Pink top underneath is Zara, must be nearly 20 years old

I am very annoyed the sun has gone. But it is better for riding and no need to hose me and the horse down after.
