Well 54 Grin skin is looking tired and kerp seeing this glass facial. As my local skincare clinic who said they do it in combination with micro-needling. My questions...I do need to nip in an asklk them but Mumsnetters can you advise too;

Do I need neck as well as face...neck isnt wrinkly

How long does it last

Should you have a course of them or once or twice a year ok

I've had microneedling but not sure what a glass facial is. I didn't find it painful although I have a high pain tolerance. They say to do 3 and leave 4 to 6 weeks inbetween each one.

I have had dermapen which is a type of microneedling.
It works! I had it for acne scarring in my 50s and I reckon it took 5 years off my face.
I had laser resurfacing and then 3 sessions of needling just on my cheeks.
I will have one session every 6 months in the hope it will stop me aging so quickly.
Go for it!

Sounds interesting

Very intriguing....do you think the derma needling will be the "active" long (ish) term results bit of the facial and the glass skin part will be a deep cleansing lovely facial that will include facial massage, hyaluronic acid and possibly some type of machine that pumps oxygen "into" the skin?
Whatever it actually is, it sounds wonderful and I hope you go ahead and have it and enjoy it massively OP!
In terms of how many, it probably depends on what you want out of it and what the issue is.
I hope you come back and tell us what it was like or even better post before and after pics so that we (me!) can see the results! 😁
I expect some one with some actual knowledge will be along (or has already posted!) in a minute.
