They don't have them in my local one do I can't get a look at them.
I love the look of the turned up ones but not the other one Confused Are they very slim? I looking for some that are slightly looser but not mom jeans,.

Yes, I’ve got a pair in the dark indigo, bought for evening wear so I wanted darker and slimmer than I usually wear during the day. They are kind of middling as far as cut goes. When the weather was really foul a couple of weeks ago I tried tucking them into boots, and they aren’t slim enough to look right for that.
Be warned that the leg length is quite misleading. I’m 5’5”, 30” leg and the regular was too short on me. I had to get long to be able to fold them up a couple of turns and still have them hover around my ankle. They’re nice jeans, though. The wash and cut are a bit smarter, the denim is nice and soft and the high waist is quite flattering.

Thanks, I like ankle grazers so I'm not fussed if they are too short. I hate skinny jeans so want them a bit looser. I'll give them a go.

I have a pair in light wash that I bought last summer. I love them! Perfect length for summer. You definitely have to size down though

GrannyRoberts · 12/05/2021 16:57

I love them, have them in three colours. They are slimmer than mom jeans but definitely looser than skinnies. I find them comfortable and flattering. The leg is quite short but I like that and roll them up to just on the ankle.

GrannyRoberts · 12/05/2021 17:00

I also like their slim boyfriend jeans

Cocolapew · 12/05/2021 17:06

Don't be cofusing me any more GrannyRoberts!

Sorry!
It's these ones, but they are a slightly slimmer fit than the Harper and the size comes up slightly small round the waist/hips. www.marksandspencer.com/boyfriend-slim-fit-cropped-jeans/p/clp60464546?color=GREY&prevPage=srp

Old thread I know but does anyone who has these know how the sizing comes up? I'm between a 12-14 in M&S and unsure which way to go!

Gillybobs · 21/09/2021 17:05

Id say they were erring on the generous side

Nyancat · 21/09/2021 17:25

I have the turnup ones and love them, contemplating the dark (almost black) ones but not sure how they'll work without the turnup, same as you op don't like the look as much

Bessica · 21/09/2021 17:31

They do come up big I have the 12 and they are loose on my waist but I was worried a 10 would be to tight.

Tulipomania · 21/09/2021 17:33

@NotImpossible I'm similar size to you and I've got 2 pairs in a 14.

Although the dark ones are tighter than the denim ones!

I love them though.

schoolsoutforever · 21/09/2021 17:35

Yes I have the turn up ones. I quite like them but (on me at least) the waist is very high and isn’t the most comfortable. They don’t look as nice on me as the model 🥲

NeverEnoughCake2 · 21/09/2021 17:35

I agree they come up big. I'm a size 18 in most places, but the size 18 in these was massive on me.

NotImpossible · 21/09/2021 17:59

Thanks all. The ones I was considering on Vinted were sold while I posted here - 'fess up, it was one of you wasn't it Wink

DGFB · 22/09/2021 21:21

I love them too. I buy a size smaller

EffYouSeeKaye · 22/09/2021 21:30

Are they a similar fit to the Lily jean but a shorter leg, would you say? Anyone got both and able to offer a comparison?
