Best way to clean/ was white Converse?

What is the best way to keep white Converse looking good? Mine are a year old - I’ve tried to clean them with a cloth and Flash but it has slightly discoloured them. I put my trainers in the washing machine and they come out like new.
Any advice for white Converse please?

Interested to know, i have white based Gola coasters, which look decidedly grubby!

I always do mine in the machine with some vanish or stain remover and whitewashing powder pop them on the washing line to dry so the sun can get at them

I wash mine in the machine but they can go a bit yellow if you're not careful.
I scrub them with vanish first and they come out like new

I also only do A 15 minute which wash unless really soiled

I’m sure I read somewhere that toothpaste is good for white trainers?

Micellar water for the soles/rubber bits (also works on trainers) soak a cotton pad and rub 😀

Can also use The Pink Stuff on the white soles of shoes - it's amazing and so easy! Think i got the tip on here

Put mine in the washing machine after I fell into a muddy puddle. They are now the most comfiest shoes I own! This was a few years ago now and I still wear them a lot. Probably need another cycle..
