Foundation help!

Please hit me with your dewy glowy gorgeous foundations or BB creams. I’m early 40’s and my skin is having a few issues at the moment so I’d like a medium to full coverage. At the moment my fave texture is a Nars one but the colour isn’t right on me. Also tried NYX which was a quite nice texture but too orange. I cannot find a foundation that just looks lovely and doesn’t make my skin look dry and just... old 😞 what are your recommendations? I’m fair skinned but not really pale.

There was a thread a few weeks ago with lots of recommendations for no7 hydra luminous and after buying it 10 days ago I am a convert!
I suffer from really dry skin at times so my usual go to is Giorgio Armani luxurious silk which I was starting to find it hard to justify the price for, tried the no7 which is less than half the price and actually a better foundation.

Oh fab thanks @LarsErickssong do they still do the shade finder thing where they hold a machine to your face and test?

What do you apply it with? I’ve recently started using a sponge and find it gives a nicer finish than a brush.

I'm not sure sorry, I only live near a small branch with no no7 staff so I had to wing it and buy the shade I think I used to buy about 5 years ago and amazingly it's perfect.

The bare minerals tinted moisturiser is very good and buildable
