Broken nose - how to fix *trigger warning*

I'm late 30's now, when I was 17 I was very badly assaulted and this included what I now realise was a broken nose. My nose has been crooked ever since. I have a deviated septum and it sort of "turns" up at one side. I have had fillers which have improved things temporarily but they are about £400 and only last 6 or 9 months. So am now thinking about surgery. Has anyone had a nose job on here? What was it like? Every time I look in the mirror I see what my abuser did to me and it is taking over my life (please, no suggestions that I 'learn to love' my nose, lots of people have already said this, it is something I have already considered). If there is any surgeons to recommend or avoid, I am in Berkshire close to Oxfordshire and also quite near London. I have seen NHS ENT but they said damage is superficial and surgery wouldn't improve my breathing or anything so they won't operate. Tia x
