Tops for size 14 apple shape

Can you recommend where to look for flattering tops or styles to look at?

I’m mid forties and 5’3.

I’d be grateful for any recommendations.

Can help but interested in answers, I am the same but a bit shorter.

H&M, I’m the same size and shape and 95% of my clothes come from there

I am an apple and like Mint Velvet (floaty tops worn with slim jeans)

dont disagree with anything said so far. I find tunics really hard, as they make me look pregnant

5ft 3 and size 14 here too.
I love h&m too but you have to be willing to buy & return lots, for a few gems.
This year I've bought several of the linen T shirts in v neck for £9.99. Incredibly flattering - skims over tummies and brilliant colours.

Also Arket v neck lyocell t shirts in black & nude. Very drapey and airy. Arket & Cos are often good for apples. They always seem to do elastic waist trousers.

I’m a size 16 apple and tend to go for v neck t-shirts or shirts, not clingy or stretch fabrics, from Jigsaw, Whistles, Hush or Boden.

I think the tricky is not to go too boxy or you look shapeless but not tight either. Cap sleeves seem to balance my shape.

Jigsaw are also good. Brilliant silk fronted t shirts & I love the turquoise linen v fronted t shirt in at the moment, but I was very shocked by the price - £70.00 !
