Classic black leather bag recommendations

I need a new bag! It needs to be black leather, ideally cross body.

I really like the Mulberry Alexa but feel it's a bit predictable so wondering if anyone can recommend anything similar but less obvious.

Budget up to around £1000 (I think the Alexa is about £1100 which is fine but I don't want to spend much more!).

Any suggestions? I'm open to anything as long as it fits my very exacting requirements 😆
