Perfume gift for 16 year old?

Any ideas what wouldn’t be too naff for a 16 year old? Happy to spend on quality but clueless as to what young women are into these days! Any advice appreciated x

Perfume blogger here. Try the Anna Sui unicorn or mermaid bottles. The perfumes are a light fruity floral and the bottles are gorgeous. Another vote for Marc Jacobs Daisy. Also consider Chanel Chance. You could also buy her a Perfume Society discovery set full of samples and offer to buy her a full bottle of her favourite. Actually the box itself is a lovely gift.

I wouldn't start with anything niche. I have a teen and they like to fit in with each other at the moment so the boys wear Tommy and Lacoste and the girls wear Victoria's Secret or Marc Jacobs.

My 16 year old likes The Body Shop White Musk l'eau . It's light, fresh and surprisingly lasts pretty well. She also likes the roller ball of l'occitane cherry blossom and the EDT of Herbae.
She's not into Niche at all. Although I have given her my bottle of Omorizka perfume from Tk Maxx as it smells like a young spa fragrance.

I would second Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. DM bought some for DD14 on a Mumsnet recommendation and it is really lovely delicate fragrance.
