Babyliss Big Hair - smoothing product?

I got a BBH a couple of years ago and liked how it made my hair look when first dried (my hair is naturally curly) but the curl/frizz always reappeared by the next day at the latest and much more unevenly than if I'd used straighteners.

Haven't tried it recently but have a wedding next month where I'd like to have straight hair - anyone got any recommendations for products to use with the BBH that would help keep hair smoother/calmer?

No advice but would be interested to know this. I tend to put a tiny bit of conditioner on my dry hair and go over it again with the BBH, which helps a little bit

I recently got one of these and I love it. I use a little bit of Olaplex no. 3 on wet hair and then leave hair until it's about 40% dry, spray with GHD straight and smooth then dry with the BBH and hairdryer for the roots. I have naturally curly/wavy/frizzy hair and I can often go 4 days before I need to wash or restyle.

If it does start to fluff up I twist it into a loose bun for a while and that seems to smooth it back down.

I should add that I'd there is any moisture in the air all of the above would be useless because absolutely nothing stops my hair frizzing when it's even slightly damp!

will have a look at the Olaplex and GHD straight and smooth - I have John Frieda Straightening stuff (can't remember name off the top of my head) but that's designed to work with the higher temp of the straighteners so assumed it wouldn't work with the BBH.

I have a revlon one step so similar to the BBH.

I use a liberal amounts of strong mousse and a little VO5 frizz free creme. Chip as chips non greasy and seems to do the job.

I also got some large Velcro roller to help revive the style after a day or so.

do you have curly hair to start with @cherrypiepie? i've find mousse encourages the curl so i'm then working against that... maybe not the right type though!

@Sturmundcalm I didn't read it properley Confused I don't have curly hair sorry!

Still could try the VO5 creme - clutching at straws to be helpful Grin

L'Oréal Elvive extraordinary oil is my go to product. I use a few drops from mid length to the ends when towel dried. Then use my BBH. I have naturally curly hair that starts at the ears, straighter on top - nice!

I then run a drop of the oil through the ends when dry to calm any frizz. Use it v sparingly and nowhere near the roots.
