just that really! I'm tempted but I'm a bit hairy so worry about regrowth

i’ve been dermaplaning regularly for about two years. very quick and easy to do, and my skin looks and feels amazing after. the hair definitely doesn’t grow back any thicker or darker. i do mine every two weeks with the cheap blades from amazon and vitamin e oil from superdrug.

Yes! I’ve been doing it for about 3 years now and I love it. It has made my (mid 40s) skin so much better. The regrowth isn’t noticeable at all, you won’t end up with stubble like a man. Make up sits so much better on my skin and people regularly tell me I’m glowing.
You must use a new blade every time (I do it about every three/four weeks) and make sure your face is completely clean and dry before you start. Once you’re done wash or clean your face again and moisturise.

I love it! I do it every few weeks. I have PCOS which causes hair growth although tbh I don't think it's that noticeable because It's very blonde. I've been doing it every few weeks (along with waxing if I want longer lasting results) for years and I agree with other posters - makeup goes on so much better and my skin looks and feels gray after. The hair does not grown back any thicker or darker either

Every 3 or 4 weeks? What happens if you stop doing it?

Thinking about going to a salon for my first go - is that not necessary?

Is is just shaving your face? Surely the regrowth is much quicker than 4 weeks?

Billandben444 · 08/05/2021 21:24

I do my peach fuzz and I don't need to do it more often that every 4 weeks. I don't know why it doesn't grow back like stubble but it doesn't. My daughter does her tache with great success but mine is made up of thick hairs so I still veet there.

Every three ish weeks works for me, there’s regrowth but it’s not back to full length if you see what I mean. Currently I’m two weeks post shave and there’s definitely not enough there for me to do it again already.

I am still paying the price for dermaplaning done 18 months go. Here’s my cautionary tale....since then I have had ingrowing hairs, folliculitis and the regrowth is thick and dark. Bitterly regret ever having it done!
