Hi any recommendations for a body moisturiser for late 40's? Preferably quick to rub in and not too strong smelling...

Clarins body lotion is my absolute fave. So nice to apply. Sinks in really well. Not sure if it's technically fragrance free or not but the smell isn't strong so I think it ticks your boxes.

I use this one...

They also do an extra-firming version but I haven't tried that...

Oh so I had a quick read of the reviews and people have mentioned the fragrance so it's definitely not fragrance free but it's not like a strong floral scent or anything, just smells like a nice moisturiser to me.

Thanks! Clarins is great, and extra firming too! It doesn't have to be fragrance free, just not too strong. It would be a treat at £42 though! Does it last long?

I've been using cetreban and diprobase.
If it's moisturize your after rather than a luxury product both of these are fantastic. Both under £20 from boots. Admittedly they are functional rather than luxury.

Superdrug vitamin E body cream is brilliant!

Cerave body moisturiser, very good and no scent, absorbs really well. It's my repeat buy. If I want a scent, I add a few drops of essential oil.

I'm using Superdrug Vitamin E (both face and body cream) after reading recommendations on here and they're great on my skin. I don't like strongly scented products. The body cream is slightly scented but I only notice it when I'm applying it (and in fact don't dislike the scent). But I use it on my legs, so it might be more noticeable if used on bare skin nearer your nose.

Also like the packaging: it's a tub that you can reuse for storage, or can be recycled more easily than a lot of cosmetics packaging, because it's two separate pieces of plastic, unlike many of the fused multi-plastic bottles that can't be separated.

I use Aveeno with the blue lid. Every time I swap, my skin complains!

Another vote for Superdrug Vit E (the Intensive one), I was very impressed. Used it all up and bought another one.

The Dove Pro Age Body Lotion is great. I'm not crazy about the scent but it doesn't hang around and the lotion itself is really smoothing as it contains AHAs.

I got the Clarins one as a gift set in JL at just over £20

I like the Clinique ones as well and it lasts for ages
