When did Olay cream get so expensive? £35!!

I was in Superdrug yesterday and was flabbergasted at the price of the Olay section. Some primer type cream just full of fillers and silicones for £35. A retinol cream just had retinyl palmitate and yes £35.
Who is buying this crap at such high prices?

Agree some of their range is v expensive but almost always half price in either Boots or Superdrug! I sometimes buy the basic Olay moisturiser but would never spend ££ when there are much better brands out there. Olay seems to have a lot of loyalty to it as a brand!

It's on offer so often that I think the high RRP is some sort of marketing gimmick to make you think of it as higher end. I like the retinol (don't care about the ingredients) cream but wouldn't pay the full price for it.
