Chin/neck collapse. Thread lift? Surgery?

The last year has seen my neck collapse so that it runs at an angle straight from the point of my chin to my throat.
It is skin laxity rather than fat.
I can't have the laser treatment that would tighten it all up, for medical reasons.
I'm wondering about a thread lift or possibly surgery.
Does anyone have any experience? Suggestions?
It's really getting me down and I don't know what to do.

I found this thread useful: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/3975166-My-droopy-jowl-mini-face-lift-result-pics
Haven't had anything done yet but like you my neck gets me down.

Thanks @crispinglovershighkick , that is an interesting read.
I'm going to book a consultation with the surgeon to OP used. My issue is that from the front everything is fine, no jowls or slippage thanks to CACI and home treatments, it's just the skin under my chin. I'm worried a lower face lift would end up with my mouth where my nose should be Grin

The aesthetics doctor I see says ultherapy for neck , thread lift for jowls and face. I've had both with some success. However the way you are describing it it sounds as if a neck lift might be the answer. Hopefully the recommended surgeon will see you right.
