Natural fibre longer length black work trousers

Possibly the most boring query ever, but as above.

Will be returning to the office soon, and want to update some of my old staples.

I’m most comfortable in trousers - preferably dark. I also suit wide leg, longer style - cropped or cigarette shape make me look all hips and thighs and emphasise my gigantic feet.

I’ve had endless pairs from the Next tall range, but they increasingly seem to be shiny and synthetic.

Is there anywhere that does “tall” lengths in natural fibres? I’m 5 11, size 10/12 and can get away with a 34 inside leg if not in heels (which I have no desire to go back to)

Are you looking for cotton, linen or fine wool?

Probably more cotton or wool. Linen seems to be a bit easier to find (although Next have annoyingly put an elasticated waist on their bog standard linen summer trousers this year).

Main thing is that they aren’t the sweat-fest that my perimenopausal self can’t deal with, let alone in the office.

I'd look on eBay for Jaeger wool or linen, I've always found them on the long side.
Few shops sell fine wool tailoring for women any more.

I normally hate Boden clothes, but for work I find the long black Richmond trousers are both smart and comfortable. They’re not 100% natural, quelle surprised, but definitely no sweat-fest going on here. (Aged 52, menopausal tall pear shape!)

Thank you @missmoon - they look lovely, I don’t think they’re long enough but I like some of their other things.

And thanks @SunnySomer, I’ve often looked at those and thought they wouldn’t work, but I’ve ordered some to give them a go. Now to figure out what to wear on my feet with them...

Just to feed back in case anyone else is on the same hunt - the Boden Richmond trousers are very close to what I was looking for. I think I’m between sizes, so the fit isn’t perfect, but that is my fault rather than theirs!
