Hi everyone,

I'm stuck in a ponytail, scruffy bun rut. I've just had my hair trimmed with layers put in so I'm looking for some inspiration.

How do you regularly have your hair?

I only ever have mine down (aside from the odd task at work I put it in a quick ponytail for and straight back down after). Its bra strap length and wavy; I've prefered it down all my life, at lengths from chin length to bum length at different times.

Down
Half up half down
Crown braid
Tuck and roll under with headscarf/headband
Loose bun with curled bits at the front
Loose ponytail
Mini half bun with the rest down

Do you style it when its down/half down or do you just have it natural. I'm a bit useless with hair tool, but worry it looks scruffy without

Yes I do style it so it looks more under control Wink I usually use tongs to give waves

I’ve recently gone from long (bra strap) with lots of layers to just past my shoulders with hardly any layers. I have a fringe, i style mine curly (this looks the best), straightened all over with straight ends, straightened all over and ends going under. I also put it all up with a peg when I’m indoors or half up with a peg.

Motherofmonsters I just use leave in conditioner, let it dry naturally and use a wide tooth comb minimally when almost dry. I do get compliments on my hair but I think I have an... erm... natural rather than remotely groomed look GrinWink I choose to believe that I don't look scruffy BlushGrin
