Has anyone been in department stores to try/test make up lately?

And if so how are they managing testers?
Thinking of foundation and lipsticks.
I did get some samples of foundation from Boots/ Clinique but have yet to try J Lewis.

Was in Boots the other day and tested some concealer. Assistant smeared a few shades on a tissue and slide it along to me to test...still managed to pick the wrong shade though!

Boots will exchange or refund any make up that you dont like, make sure you keep the receipt.

Blimey that's very generous of them.

I usually buy Bobbi Brown foundation and they will refund if you buy online but not in store.

I'm also looking at a new Dior one so at over £30 it's too pricy to make a mistake.

Its a policy started during covid because there arent any testers available.
