Make my own cut off jeans - yeah or nay?

I've got a pair of jeans that are too long and are I'm wondering about cutting them off rather than hemming them up as it seems a bit more stylish and on trend. Problem is I think they'll end up looking just what they are - jeans cut with a pair of scissors (and silly on a 40 something). I'd value anyone's opinion - hit or miss?

Go for it.

@feetuppp

Fray the ends !

I love this look! I'd go for it...as long as they weren't hugely expensive.

LizziesTwin · 05/05/2021 21:21

I did that with a pair last year and have been asked where they’re from. So much easier than hemming them.

Kenworthington · 05/05/2021 21:23

I do it with mine. Scuff up the raw hem with some sandpaper. They’ll look like you bought them like it

lindyloo57 · 05/05/2021 21:35

I do with mine, after all you can them like that in the shops.

Yes go for it. Or turn them up, try that first to see if you like it.

Thanks everyone, just the nudge I needed!
