What shoes with summer dresses for work?

I can't wear trainers with dresses because of the dress code. I have some pumps but they always make my feet damp and sticky 🤢

Not a fan of heels, I prefer wedges.

Most of my dresses are midi with fitted top/waist and floaty at the bottom.

What shoes would you wear with them? Please?

Would you wear something like this? I’ve linked to red but they also come in tan/gold and other colours. I know you said that you aren’t a fan of heels but these are not too high block heels so not far away from a wedge.

I’ve just bought these from dune. I also have an open toe pair in nude.

Thank you both, I was more after a shoe type shoe rather than sandal. I guess I just need to look for wedge courts, I actually found an absolutely gorgeous pair, but at £175 I think I'll need to find an alternative 😬

Do your feet still get sticky in pumps if you wear the tiny little socks with the silicone strip at the back? I know some people struggle to keep them on their feet, but I love them and wear them with everything all summer.

Following with interest. I keep seeing women in really nice smart, structured flats and think I'd like a pair - they look nice with jeans too. Not sure when I'd wear them though as I walk everywhere and I bet they'd be murder to bash out 20K steps in!
