Could someone help me with the name of an up to date nice perfume I could buy for my wife's perfume.Budget about £50 and she's a few years over 40 .Thank you.

Wow that was quick great a little less stressful.Is it popular with daughters in their early twenties because mine is always at my wife's dressing table .Should it be hidden.Thankyou.

Is it ok to ask for a recommendation from the sales assistant if they haven't got this one in stock.I usually have to do this because if I ask my daughter it tends to be the one she likes.Or any alternatives would be great too thanks.

I'd suggest your purchase completely depends on what smells you think she tends to like.

Citrus
Floral
Woody/spicy
Foodie (like vanilla)
I'm currently loving Molton Brown Milk Musk, which is a soft powdery clean vanilla/floral based
perfume and gets lots of compliments. It's around your budget and they are generous with samples and advice. Beautiful packaging too whether you buy online or in store.
Shay and Blue online are fantastic perfumers and very reasonably priced for the excellent quality. I love their Black Tulip for a sophisticated floral scent.

Angela Flanders do absolutely beautiful perfumes, if you're near London a visit to the shop to choose one would also be nice as part of the present. What perfumes does she usually wear as that will help with the types of scents she wears

Prada Iris is clean and soapy and lovely, so would be a safe bet.
