CC cream that does it all (I'm not asking for much)

  • Needs SPF
  • Needs to even out skin tone
  • Needs to give a dewy/luminous finish but not an oil slick
  • That is all.

I have tried IT cosmetics CC cream, L'oreal, Laura Mercier, all with varying degrees of success but absolutely nothing revolutionary. PS I am 42 and happy to spend on the 'right' one.

I don’t think the bare minerals one has been discontinued? It’s still on the website.

Apologies for any alarm caused! I buy it from QVC and it's no longer available there for some reason. I shouldn't have assumed the worst

@Fidgety31

What’s the difference between a BB and CC cream ? What do they stand for

BB cream stands for 'blemish balm' and is more like a tinted moisturiser.
CC stands for 'colour correcting' and offers more coverage than a BB cream.

I'm after something for evening out my complexion, either powder or liquid, but in my experiments with various liquids I hate the way they wipe off on things ! If that makes any sense.... I wipe my nose and I have colour on the tissue or it can rub off on clothing. I've been using foundations and it makes me feel really like I'm wearing a mask, even though I've been trying pretty lightweight ones.

Do these BB and CC creams do the same? Or am I better sticking to a powder?

Erborian fans - has anyone tried the new(ish) CC Water/gel, and if so how does it compare to the CC Creme?
