Where should I look for jewellery?

I am currently looking for a gift for my soon to be 70yo grandmother. She loves gold jewellery and I am hunting for a nice gold bracelet for her as I know she would really like one.
She is allergic to nickel so I want to make sure I am getting 100 the right thing.

Could anyone recommend good, reputable retailers/websites where I can continue my search? Huge bonus if its made in the UK.

If you are in the north I recommend looking at the Ramsdens website. Yes, they are pawnbrokers and gold/currency dealers but that doesn’t trouble me. They sell new and secondhand jewellery and they have a great selection. Their secondhand jewellery is great value, and I’ve had a couple of gold bangles from them that I’ve been really pleased with. You can order online: their website is really clear about weight and carat value etc.

Most jewellers seem to be using gold plated these days more and more. Start with Moniker Vinader

Monica Vinader stuff is usually ‘gold vermeil’ (silver plated with gold).

I've just ordered some earrings from John Lewis from a brand called Tutti & Co. I've had a look on their own website and thought they had some really nice pieces.

Not sure of your budget OP or if these might not be suitable for your gran, but think they are made in NE England.
