Hello! I was wondering how much you ladies pay for a wash, cut and blowdry in a salon? I’ve been quoted £55 and wanted to know if this was normal? I normally have my haircut by someone mobile who charged a lot less so just wanted opinions and advice please! Thank you

Depends where you are and the level of the hairdresser.

I have below shoulder hair and it's £70 with a salon director. Would be £55 with a stylist.

Mobiles are obviously cheaper.

It depends where you live. Prices vary from area to area.

I'm East Midlands and pay £27. She's been my hairdresser for years and prices don't go up much

I pay about £60 for highlights plus a cut and blow dry so £55 sounds steep for just a cut

I live in a city and go to a fairly premium salon, a Ladies Cut & Finish (which includes wash and blow-dry) ranges from £49-£75 depending on the seniority of the stylist. I am happy paying this as I am confident I will be happy with the outcome, but I know I could probably get it cheaper elsewhere.

I used to pay around £75 for a cut and blow dry. Then I noticed how well the bloke’s hair was cut by his new hairdresser. I now pay £32 for a cut that’s just as good as the one I used to pay more than double for.

Just booked an appointment yesterday for July. £38.50 for a cut and blow dry.
Previously paid £18 in a different area..

I’m in the Midlands and pay £35. It’s quite a price hike for me because before Covid I was only paying £12 for a dry cut but the salon I go to are no longer doing them as they want to work on hair that’s freshly washed by themselves.

£45, Leeds city centre.

I’m in the SE and pay £75 fora cut and blow dry. 55 sounds reasonable.
